At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! We’re looking for three Stop Smoking Advisors to join our Gloji SmokeFree City and Hackney service.
Gloji Smokefree City & Hackney are the smoking cessation service for The City of London and London Borough of Hackney. Residents across the are able to benefit from a variety of our established stop smoking pathways, including Gloji Smokefree, our online programme. As a Stop Smoking Advisor, your role will be to deliver face-to-face stop smoking support to eligible clients alongside the online resource. The majority of the week will be in-person working, with the option to work from home during admin hours. You will support in making long term healthy lifestyle changes through behaviour change coaching. You’ll manage a client caseload and deliver individual sessions in person.

We are currently hiring full time and part-time (0.5) positions.
A typical day as a Stop Smoking Advisor might include :
- Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers quit for good
- Running stop smoking clinics across the area, working with clients on both a one-to-one and group basis
- Working with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to help improve client uptake and meet targets
- One role will have the potential to be based in maternity wards, engaging with patients and staff and delivering clinics to reduce smoking in pregnancy.
- Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients, in alignment with our policies and procedures
- Engaging in training relevant to your role, such as NCSCT Stop Smoking training and Behaviour Change Level 1 and 2
- Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!

To work with us, a Level 2 Stop Smoking Advisor qualification is desirable. However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!

Contract: Permanent Contract, full time 37.5 hours and part time (0.5FTE).
Salary: Starting at £24-27,000, rising through annual increments to £30,000 (pro rata for part time).
Closing Date: The closing date for applications is Sunday 27th October 2024. We reserve the right to close the opportunity early should we receive enough qualified applicants.

Location: This is a hybrid role. The majority of your time will be spent delivering face-to-face sessions across the City of London and Hackney, whilst you are not delivering you will be able to work from our Stratford office base or home.
