Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!
At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver Stop Smoking Services throughout County Durham, and we’re looking for a Stop Smoking Programme Delivery Co-ordinator (New) to join our team!
Our Stop Smoking Programmes are designed to support local people who live, study or work in County Durham and want, or need, to quit smoking. This is a new role which is specifically designed to work across the system, including the voluntary sector and partner organisations, to empower them to deliver effective Stop Smoking interventions.
Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.
A typical day as a Stop Smoking Programme Delivery Co-Ordinator might include:
Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers quit for good
Develop and deliver successful engagement and marketing initiatives that help local people to know where and when to get stop smoking support, including digital support
Working with County Durham voluntary sector and across the system to effectively market and deliver the service with our partners
Develop and deliver training, support and resources to partner organisations delivering this new service offer
Using your significant rapport building and excellent communication skills to create new and strengthen existing relationships and partnerships across the system
Utilise your amazing emotional intelligence to build and develop the service through effective co-production
Effectively manage and monitor performance of partner organisations to ensure key performance indicators are achieved
Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients, in alignment with our policies and procedures
Engaging in training relevant to your role, such as NCSCT Stop Smoking training and Behaviour Change Level 1 and 2
Using relevant information technology and systems to manage your day to day tasks and client databases
Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!
About you…
More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too!
Be the change
You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.
Be effective
You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. Always happy to make time for other people, and have a great attitude.
Be happy
You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).
Be successful
You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets and will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.
Be big-hearted
You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, you want to engage in meaningful work and change lives.
To work with us in this role, it would be preferrable if you have some delivery experience of supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices; or delivering effective partnership working; or training and supporting local people. However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!
