Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!
At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! We’re looking for a Admin Assistant to join our One You Lincolnshire service. Since July 2019, One You Lincolnshire has offered adults support in Weight Management, Smoking Cessation, Alcohol Reduction, Physical Activity, Health Coaching and Strength and Balance.
The main aspect of this role, however, involves working on the Gloji Energy programme that is responsible for supporting children and their families to lead healthy lifestyles. The programme provides eligible Lincolnshire families a fun and engaging programme, that encourages them to eat healthier, increase their physical activity levels, as well as improving their sleep and wellbeing. The holistic programme combines both one to one appointments and weekly group sessions for children aged 4 to 12 years, and their families.
Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.
A typical day as a Admin Assistant might include:
- Make initial phone calls to parents of eligible children, introducing and offering our Gloji Energy programmes.
- Provide empathetic support by identifying and signposting families to alternative sources of help where additional needs are present.
- Contact families referred through the National Child Measurement Programme to engage them with Gloji Energy.
- Build positive relationships with the Child Weight Management team, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for families joining our programmes.
- Champion the Thrive Tribe ethos, helping to embed our values and drive our culture forward across services.
- Ensure compliance with Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements, and best practice at all times.
About you...
More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too!
Be the change
Being the person, who supports building self-esteem in others, enabling them to feel confident to engage with programmes that allow them to thrive.
Be effective
You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. You think outside the box to solve problems when you’re in difficult situations.
Be happy
You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).
Be successful
You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets. You will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.
Be big-hearted
You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, we want the same thing, to do meaningful work and change lives.
To work with us in this role you will need to have excellent telephone communication skills, have an empathetic and caring attitude to support families and a good level of IT literacy. Active listening, motivational and behaviour change skills would be a great asset to have. A general understanding of healthy lifestyles would be advantageous. However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience, so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!
