Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!
At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! It’s a super exciting time to join us as we deliver our Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (IHWS) throughout East Sussex, and we’re looking for a motivated Vaping Cessation Advisor to join us.
One You East Sussex is designed to support individuals to improve their health behaviours and make sustainable changes to their lifestyle. The programme consists of six key services;
- Stop Vaping support (18yr+). This is where you come in!
- Stop smoking support
- Active programmes
- Adult weight management
- NHS Health Checks
- Health Coaching
People will be able to benefit from a brand-new service, which will deliver targeted vaping cessation support. As Vape Cessation Advisor, you will be responsible for running the cessation element of the contract.
Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.
A typical day as a Vaping Cessation Advisor might include:
· Closely monitoring the progress of the programme, reviewing performance against KPI’s and producing summary reports when required
· The delivery of a number of Vape Cessation clinics across the East Sussex patch to ensure availability to those wanting to quit vaping (And other related support requirements)
· Working collaboratively with other OYES teams, to mobilise this project and co-produce aspects of it.
· Constant education in the growing evidence base around Vape Cessation
· Working closely with our Smoking Cessation team to support conversations around Vape Cessation
· Promoting our programme and building effective working relationships with external partners such as primary and secondary care.
· Working with colleagues across all our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
· Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
· Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!
